Most meat is absolutely fine to eat raw if its comletely fresh. Certain meats such as chicken and pork are more likely to attract certain bugs if not fresh hence why they're never eaten raw

All chicken is fed on pig lips.

You don't actually believe that where it says on the ingredients list of their feed "protein", someone went down to Boots the Chemist to get a jar of it to add, do you?

There was an episode if wife swap USA where a family had done weird eating rituals where they woke their children in the middle of the night for snacks and are raw chicken stored in glass jars

The irony being that the kids then got I'll when the other mum took over and they went for some fast food...

Innit sure what my point is tho

torisashi

I've had it once in a very high quality restaurant in a top notch hotel in Japan; I was quite shocked when I was told what I was eating. For sure I was a bit nervous but it was delicious and I didn't get ill at all. Wouldn't go looking for it though.

Apparently OK if the bird is killed and eaten pronto.

Got a Japanese friend who was in a bad way after eating it.
